Sound like you need the alarm that I have, its made by viper and it pages you on the remote if it is going off, id love to be able to tell you the model # but I got it a couple of years ago. The range on it is excellent, I would say up to a 1/4 mile. It also has a remote start feature which if you have an automatic, it kick ass, but if you have a manual transmission, DONT hook it up lol, I made that mistake and ended up crashing into an A/C handler unit which cost bout 5,000 bucks to replace. I wouldnt know exactely how much cuz I wasnt there to find out lol. But anyways go with viper, it has a lot of functionality, and is easy to use... I would also recommend either a varad scanner light, or multiple LED's, when a thief is scoping your car and sees all the lil blinking lights, makes em at least think twice before they go any further ;)

Viper sells a 2-way alarm model # 5002. This one doesn't have the remote start though. I'm looking for an alarm for my 2007 Fit too and there are so many out there with so many price points that it's hard to tell what is good and what is crap.
