Hola, I'm newbie with Honda transmission problems

Hello to all, I own a 97 Honda Prelude and unfortunately it is an automatic. I have to refurbish the transmission. How hard is it to remove the tranny? I am low on funds and hopefully will remove it myself with some help.:shakehead Also, has anyone heard about a recall on the transmission for a 97 Honda Prelude?
