what is a part that gets the most hp at the lowest cost? peferably under $400

Get a Y-pipe, that will give you the most Hp per $$$, then get make a custom CAI... :D

If you visit jim wolfe technology they can modify your maxima's computer chip and change spark timing and all that. it'll cost less than $400 and you'll get anywhere from 8 -30 hp depending on how you ask them to set it up

so i just remove my old ECU and mail it to JWT? is it hard to remove? I have a 1995 maxima.

yeah just take it out and mail it to them priority mail. I don't think it's hard. to remove. I know it's easy on honda's, but that doesn't mean much. It just sucks that they'll have to have your chip for a while.
