hey, when i start to rev the motor at like 3g's and it want to die out. my friend says it the air to fuel ratio..but the question is how do i fix that? its a 94 cx with a D16z6 motor in it. i'm not sure if the fuel pump was chaged to handle the v-tec... got an ideas?

Have you checked for any CEL codes from the ECU?

It could be MANY things, but to start i would check the fuel filter.

i chaged the stock fuel filter, but i also realized that it only happens when its a cold start when i just turn on the car it want to die out... if i rev the car up really high to the point it tops out it runs fine after that

How long has it been since you had a whole tune up? Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, airfilter

i'm not to sure but i'm guessing just below a 1000 RPM i don't have a tachometer but when i rev it to about 2000RPM its wants to die out..but if i redline it a couple of times... and let it idle its fine...any ideas?

It sounds like you're starting to get clogged fuel injectors. Don't quote me on that one just yet. Is your check engine light (cel) on. If so you should go to autozone or advance auto and get them to check your codes. Usually they can tell you right there what the code is related too. If they can't then you can usually find the codes online. If your cel isn't on, I would run some fuel injector cleaner through the system and see if that helps dissolve the problem (no puns intended). If not then you need to check the pressure for the fuel system (it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and do that if you can) the only other cause that I can think of would be that your fuel pump is either going out or the fuel system is getting gummed up(possibly the pump).
