Hey everyone! Ok if you guys have been keeping up with me about my car situation i have some bad news which sucks! Ok remember how i told you i "might" be getting a new car... well 2 weeks ago my dad gave me the thumbs up on getting a new car which is a G35. Well last week our family insurance guy calls me and was like: "what up man what the hell was you doing in 2005?" I was like what are you talking about and he was like " Come on now you know what you did" I thought about it and damn! I had 4 tickets in 1 year!!! and the one that fucked me up was my street racing one. So now he talked to my dad.. told him some things so now i guess im off the insurance. =\ So now by the looks of things... no more new car! or any other car. so now im bummed out. Sigh* My question is... did my insurance go up higher?? because my dad was like.. my insurance dont want to accept me anymore. And also if it is up.. when will my insurance go back down?? Sigh*** i kinda also wanted a 97-99 Silver gst or gsx =p

You were considered to much of a liability so they dropped you like its hot(couldn't resist). I'm not sure when they will go back down but I know its never good when you get dropped

weird, how come you have so many tickets, and no suspended lic? 3 here in a years time is like suspension. Street racing here is an automatic suspension. what state are you in? IL blows then. lol

hmmmm maybe if you got hooked on phonics, and stopped tryin to be a G, and grew up a little you wouldnt get so many tickets. If you were going to get a G35 you should be able to afford insurance on your own. You could also go to drivers ed, that would help your insurance

I'm not sure how old you are but when you turn 19, 21, and I think 25 your insurrence goes down, also you could always get married that's a discount:grinyes: .

If you have nothing good to add to the thread then don't post. That was totally pointless and you just made yourself look like a fucking idiot.
Hellah, with all those tickets you were probably put under a high-risk category and you'll have to find a high-risk insurance company to reinsure you. It'll probably cost you out the ass until you get off of high-risk and can get back down to regular insurance.

What I meant by that is, what is your state law for tickets and such.... what do you do after your first, second, third, and fourth traffic violation? Insurance goes down only after your 25 right?

It takes three years for a violation to be removed from your license.
So three years from the day you got the tickets it'll be gone.
Atlernatives? Get somebody else to get insurance in their name and make sure they have the option to cover non-insured drivers in their car. That way you can still drive the car.
Or, they make insurance places that insure high risk drivers, but just like bad credit, you are going to pay out the ass.

Your 23 and you were still on your parents insurance? Damn, I had to get my own insurance when I was 17. I got 8 tickets in 1 year, lost my lic twice. I got in to an accident, the kid who hit me was the grandson of a cop, The cops tried to blame me for the accident. The judge wanted to throw me in jail for a year and fine me 5,000. I talked to all the witnesses, and took their statements to the city attorney and told her if she tries to stick this wreckless driving to me, that I would sue the city and have her job. 2 days later she had her assitant call and told me the charges were dropped. after that the pig who wrote me up for the boguss ticket hounded me, pulled me over for anything and everything. I plead not gulity to tickets, but they never gave me a court date, just sent the tickets to the DMV. I almost lost my license for a year. Beat that!!!

Strangely as we talk about tickets, I had to go to court today for doing 90 in a 65 in the cobra a few months ago. I was really doing 130 but ehh hehe.
Anyway, it was the easiest thing I have ever done. I went in there, and the judge asked me what I plead and I said guilty, and he asked if I wanted traffic school, I said yes sir and he reduced my fine and sent me on the way.
No points off my license and a reduced fine, for a real bad infraction. I mean what more could you ask for?

Thats the way to do it. lol Believe it or not, I had the same thing happen to me in the Firebird. They told me I was doing 80 and I know I was really doing 115. lol
In Hellah's situation though... Here's the bad news for you. A street racing violation will never be dropped from your license. Anytime you apply for insurance of any type, a red flags gonna go up on your name and you will get denied a lot. Your insurance goes down some once you hit 21 as long as you have a decently clean record. (only 1 or 2 tickets) If your record is bad, as in Hellahs case, his speeding tickets won't be gone until the end of 2008 and his insurance most likely won't go down until he is about 27 since he is already 23. That is as long as he trys to keep a clean record after all this. *hint hint*
I think we all can take a moment to learn from each others mistakes that have been mentioned in this thread. :2cents:

This seems to be like a warning to everyone in this forum about why not to speed lol. But yeah sometimes i get tickets for some BS. The main one that killed me was the drag racing one. Basically here is what happend and i should be thankful. I was drinking at my friends house and i was really tipsy and when we all left everyone sped down the street so me and my other friend started to race down the street. The cops was parked somewhere talking to each other and i guess they heard our mufflers rawring down the street and thats how they got me and also my friend. They charged me with exibition of speed because they didnt know how fast i was going. I got lucky too because i was also buzzed from the beer. But yes no more speeding for me. =( sigh* yep im 23 still living with my parents and why im under my parents insurace... because im broke and workinf for family. the good news is that im getting paid $240.05 a week! What kind job job do you have?
Also, just like crunchymilk, I learnt my lesson after the secnd ticket. I got those two within 4 months of eachother and that was within 5 months of me gettin my liscense. Thankfully no ticket in one whole year, but I dont speed anymore. The funny thing is, just two days ago, my insurance company raised my premium because of those two ticket which was exactly 1 year and 10 ago. It took them a whole year too find out about it...hmmm.

I work for Raymour and Flanigan (a furniture place), and I'm paid $7.46 an hour. It's a full time job so I'm getting 40 hours plus 6 hours of overtime each week. After taxes and my health insurrence comes out I'm lucky to make over $250:banghead:. Now there making a whole lot of changes and I've lost the every week over time and theres a chance that I'll be going down to part time. I calculated my bills and it comes to just over $900 a month, that's not including groceries. So how do bussinesses plan to have happy employees when they do anything and everything in there power to screw us out of every dollar they can? This fuckin blows:frown:

I don't know what I would do if I was in your situation but I think I would find another job cause it's not like you dad can't retire? He could hire another employee to replace you, every employee a bussiness hires is a risk that they must take if they want help. Good Luck and keep us posted.
