2.4L swap into '03 sedan

I need some opinions on engine swaps...I've found a 2.4L engine from an Element, and thinking about a swap. would it be better or cheaper to swap a 2.0, and will the Element's engine even fit into a regular civic sedan? I was under the impression it had the same engine as the Accord. any info would be cool.
