umm yeah i finally got some money saved up (right now i have 500 and i less than a month i should have 750 plus my checks till june) so now going to tear it down and i'am trying to find a machine shop to check the block and have it bored thirty over to a 355ci. then after i get it back i going to get a new rotating assembly. and then wait for more money to get the top end built up.

sounds badass... you should ask around for somebody who knows what theyre doing... how much is it gonna cost you to bore it out?

well i looking around for a good machine shop at the moment. i wouldn't think any more than $500 to machine it. i might be wrong.

thats about right for a decent machine shop, but it all depends on whether or not the engine has major problems

does anybody know a good camshaft for a 350 tpi. i'm putting my 305 tpi system on my '73 350 if you needed that info.

lt1 cam would work but there wouldnt be any point. You can find a much better cam than that.

ok Computer controlled flat tappet camshaft or Computer controlled Hydraulic Roller Camshaft. i would think the roller would be better. the thing is i can only find flat tappet with a little lope

call comp cams the have people that can tell you everything you will ever want to know about what your looking for

take a look at comp's XFI line, they have a bunch for TPI. and since you have a 73 block, it's not a roller motor, it has to be flat tappet.
