umm yeah i finally got some money saved up (right now i have 500 and i less than a month i should have 750 plus my checks till june) so now going to tear it down and i'am trying to find a machine shop to check the block and have it bored thirty over to a 355ci. then after i get it back i going to get a new rotating assembly. and then wait for more money to get the top end built up.

its finally coming along.

thats about right for a decent machine shop, but it all depends on whether or not the engine has major problems

lt1 cam would work but there wouldnt be any point. You can find a much better cam than that.

ok Computer controlled flat tappet camshaft or Computer controlled Hydraulic Roller Camshaft. i would think the roller would be better. the thing is i can only find flat tappet with a little lope

take a look at comp's XFI line, they have a bunch for TPI. and since you have a 73 block, it's not a roller motor, it has to be flat tappet.
