Transmission Line?

Hey,

I recently got in an accident where I hit a curb pretty bad. When I got back to my house I found out that my car was leaking, (transmission fluid) and I lost any ability to get into gear. I can move the shifter and start the car just it wont get out of neutral. There is no structural damage, as in I didnt hit anything I just jumped up on a curb pretty bad. Was wondering what the problem could be and what the best course of action to follow would be?

-Thanks,
Elliott

Car is Honda Accord 91 EX

When the car is off can you slide into any gear? Have you added any fluid since and does it leak right out? It sounds like you're probably gonna have to tow it to a shop. Even if you could get into gear and kick start it, it wont do much good without the ability to get past 1st gear.

As low and vulnerable as the tranny case is on the accord, I wouldn't be suprised if you cracked the casting of the tranny itself.

I've seen a couple come through the shop like that after a hard curb check.

Hopefully you just split a transcooler line or something though...just put a couple of quarts in and start it up and see where it leaks from..
