i got a crx with a b16. When I'm driving and trying to stay at a constant speed, my engine feels like its struggling almost like a putting sound. I want to change the gas filter, but theres a problem. My dumb ass does't know where its at. I want to see if thats the problem or if you have any opinions on what it can be.

when all else fails.. follow fuel lines

follow the fuel line from the fuel rail to the firewall.. you should see it go to a canister that should be the fuel filter.

u gotta jack up the rear drivers side, its right there near the front of the wheel well. i took my wheel off to get at it better. they run about $4 at any parts store, and u should be able to get one that looks alike. just make sure you clamp down the fuel lines running into it (there are two) so you dont make a mess.:p

Question for ya,
Got a 87 CRX fuel injected SI. Needing to change the fuel filter at the firewall on the passenger side, though I have one small problem with that. Unscrewing the service botl is easy, the nut or bolt that sets the line into the filter though is the hard part. Any ideas? Also, the replacement filter I bought is not the same as the stock filter. INstead of the line-in at the top and the line-out at the bottom, the new one has the line-in/line-out at the top. One opening has a rubber plug/stopper er somethin in it and the other is open/exposed. How do you tell which one is linein and lineout?

for the thread it might have been missed threaded at one point try getting some liquid nail or relace it and for the filter try blowing air in to it see if it only goes in one direction if so you have your answer
