86 engine into a 90

can this be done, my other engine is not worth the trouble and this one is running just fine, i know that i will have to change intakes, my worry is, will the holes match up, i have fuel injectors and that 86 engine with only 50k on it is carboratored. Hey blue bowtie is your looking its the guy with the blown piston in the 90, man i had pivot balls with gouches in them and pushrods with scratches, two more cylinders on the drivers side had scuffing in the lower part too. definite lubercation problems.
Well perhaps you can shed some light on wheather or not it will work, i have like i said tbi, old engine was a vin Z.
