Droping ur whip eh? I need to do that shit too
Iv been doing research... and asking around.
U can get sleeved coilovers for like a bill or less n use ur stock shocks..
But if u acctually have plans for ur car. And not just drop it cuz its cool. Get tha proper coilovers n shocks.. This was ur stock wont bust and ur car wont feel like a vibrator n Over all ALOT better performance.
IS it Worth spending tha extra 800$!!!!!!! UMMMMMMM, 800 is alotta money. But if u want Credit and a over all better whip Push tha 800 out. n do it properly..
Just my oppnion.

^^uhhhhhhhhhhhh.........
anyways, just get some decent springs like progress/sprint/tien or anything like that and get new struts which isn't all that necessary but it will enhance the performance...new struts are more important for the front...
get cheap coil overs and shit and you'll regret it, i had some on for a couple weeks felt like i was on the atlantic the way i was bouncin around, shit made me sea sick....
do your suspension right, and make sure you get a camber kit unless you want to go through new tires evern 4 months......
i did/am in the process of doing...
Sprint 2.5" front/2.25" back drop
Koni adjustable struts on the front
New non performance struts on the back
Progress camber kit
Total $$ = $600
that's just the equipment, did the labor myself

pretty much, yeah.
catsman72- A set of decent aftermarket coilovers and dropping springs, plus a camber kit if necessary, is probably the best route to go. It's good to remember that your suspension is just as important as the engine and transmission in making you go fast- and doing it with some similacrum of safety. If you're "bouncing around like you're on the atlantic" you'll be putting engine power towards moving you UP and DOWN and not forward! Also, if you've ever done any vehicular off-roading, you'll know that it's VERY difficult to control your vehicle while it's tyres are not touching the ground.
And the camber kit is so you don't look like some idiot who just cut his springs and strapped on a fart can.
Don't be that guy.

^^pic don't work, i was all excited for something funny lol, and i see alot of ppl in town with their tires butterflied in BAD and they think they're so cool and i'm just thinkin "what an idiot, at that rate it's new tires in about 3 months"...
anyways, when you lower, def. figure in your wheel size and if you get new struts and it will make it go even lower than what the springs are set to....
i.e. - i got a 2.5" front and 2.25" back drop, 17in. wheels, with the new struts is didn't really work out great lol, ended up gettin new bump stops cuz mine were cut in half and also taking the guard out of the wheel well and i'm gonna roll the inside of the fender...
be smart basically
