Painting 1/24 scale figures

Recently, I purchased a Fujimi accessory kit that came with people (drivers and girls). I'd love to paint them, but the thing is, I don't know how to paint figures. Does anyone have any tips on painting figures, or know of a site that has tips on it? Thanks in advance.

I have used the same figures you have as well as the tamiya 1/20 scale as well for my F1 dioramas, A variation on the flesh colour from Tamiya is good -Tamiya flat flesh XF-15... what I mean by variation use slight amounts of flat brown and the flat flesf to achieve desired results around the eyes and cheeks and wrinkling areas..
I also have this great book on dioramas and figures if you want I can scan that section for you....

check some stuff I have done...

If you can get the hold of them Warhammer Paints are the best. I find that Tamiya paints are far too shiny for realistic skin. THe warhammer range has many skin washes and with practise can produce farily realistic textures. Hope this helps.

PS: There are many Warhammer painting guides on the net to help you out

I just bought the same kit last week.
I think it could ad something special to a modelcar.
Take a look over here http://www.missing-lynx.com/articles/figures/a-figures.htm.
It's a armor site but it explains how to paint a face and ad the shadows.

Thanks for the help guys. These tips will help me out a lot. Darrenj, that was a really nice diorama. Hopefully, I will be able to paint my figures as well as you did. I'll post pics when I finish my first figure.
