Just a quick question as I know nothing about working on cars..If I were to put a cold air intake on my 91 stealth, would the MAF still have to be used? and if so, would it just add on to a setup such as this one?

so yes, the MAS would still have to be used. you would have to attach it somewhere along the short ram tube, probably between the filter and the pipe. but from looking at the picture, it doesn't appear that the shape of the tube allows for connection of the MAS. you should probably e-mail the seller of the item and ask.
here is a Short Ram Intake. notice that the MAS is still used. look at the location of it between the filter and the bottom of the tube.

here is an example of a Cold Air Intake. notice the MAS is still used here as well. Notice the tube continues down towards the bottom of the bumper (where the filter is--not shown).

The intake works like this. It starts with a coupler, that goes to the pipe, then on the end of the pipe another coupler which goes to the MAS. Then the other side of the MAS you unbolt the airbox, bolt on the adapter, and put the filter on. I have almost the exact same one and it works fine.

Thank you both for your replies, and I apoligize because I did know it wasnt a cold air, I'm just an idiot. will that setup gain me anything at all? And also while we are on the subject, wat exactly is the difference between the cold air and short ram?

cold air goes in the fenderwell drawing air from outside the engine bay. Short ram is just an aftermarket intake that keeps the filter in the same general location. As for gains, none really. Even a CAI doesnt really net any gains with out cars. Its mainly for looks. Mine actually helped with another issue. Something happened to my stock intake arm and it kept faliing apart at the one seam on hard shifts. LOL
