well first of all those are not built as V8 but rather they take 2 inline 4 bike engines and join them at the crank.
I'm sure you could custom order one from radical or whomever else builds them but they will cost you a lot.

I know they were 2 inline 4 joined and the magazine article i had i thought they said the price was about that of a chevy 350 crate motor. The main thing i'm wanting it for is a F1 replica i've been kinda planning for awhile i thought it would be nice to have a engine that could rev to the range of a actual f1 car. And since this years rules is a 2.4v8 the hayabusa engine was a 2.6v8. Almost exact liter displacment.
2.2 Straight six

It's the motor from the Radical SR8 (http://www.radicalextremesportscars.com/range/sr8/sr8.php), built by a company called Powertec. Motor's name is the "Powertec RPA V8", with about 380HP. The "RPD" version powers the Radical SR9 (http://www.radicalextremesportscars.com/news_folder/lms2006/istanbul/index.php). The RPD is a 3.0 version with about 525HP. The RPA peaks at about 10,350 RPM and the RPD peaks at 11,350 RPM.
You can contact these guys about buying one: Powertec Engineering (http://www.powertecengineering.com/v8_index.php).
Doubt it'll be cheap, but let us know how it goes. You have to email them for a price list.
