Who makes some good aftermarket axles for a 96 blazer? I'm looking for something a lot stronger than the stock chevy axles.

The stock axles are very strong, and will stand up to a lot of power. If you need something stronger, a lot of people recommend Moser axles.

DO NOT use "Superior Axle and Gear" brand axles. I ordered one from summit. It didn't even last three months. I did the "file test" after I pulled it, and it wasn't hardened. You can run a file across a quality axle repeatedly and not even scratch it, I ran a file across the "Superior Axle and Gear" axle once and it cut a gash. That explains why it had a 3/16 groove cut into it after only three months.

Well I guess I dont realy need new axles but I'm planing on compleetely rebuilding my blazer and figured I might as well replace everythig that moves while I'm doing this much work on it anyways. Thanks for the info, I'll go check out Moser.
