90 deville, some starts idle fine, others...

90 deville..If it starts on first crank, idles fine rest of ride. If doesnt and i have to give it a bit of gas, it runs like shit and dies everywhere i let off of gas. Starts right back up with a bit of gas but its getting annoying. Been getting an AIR error for before it was doing this and everynow and then now as well. What should i look at? Thanks.

It might be the fuel pressure regulator. Pull the vac line off and see if there is any gas present. If there is, the part is bad.
