depends on tires, tire pressure, type of clutch, how warn out it is, waht type of surface your on (i.e. track, street asfhvalt tarmack)
this question is like saying your thirsty, and asking other people how much you should drink
do a ton of test launches and figure out the right rpm, but remember wen you goto the track its alot stickyer so you will hook up better and bog down if you launch the same as on the street

heres a slightly better question, but not much....do you guys dump the clutch or step it out a little?
In my stang i would dump it at its torque peak and modulate the throttle to control spin. In a stock 89 GT with 3.73's i was able to get a 14.7xxx, so i am confident in the operator skill i just don't know what to do now with fwd and 4 cylinders....lol

let it slip first, if you dont you can easily break your transmission or axles, i have boroken about 3 SETS on various cars, 2 axels alone on the celica....pre-loading improves your time (expecially w a weak clutch) and saves your stuff
