well posting the same thread four times isn't going to get you a proper response any faster. my suggestion is to follow some of the advice Neutrino presented in your 5th thread. any settings to enhance performance ontop of your overheating component is like putting a band-aid on a broken knee and going back to play football. fix your overheat problem then ask for performance tips.

as whitex pointed out indentify first the stability issue and fix it. But as far as performance increase the short story goes:

Install ad-aware and spybot, remove all spyware they find, same goes with a good antivir. Uninstall any program you don't need, use msconfig to stop any program (beside security) from starting at boot and defrag the HD.

PS. As a courtesy to us please proof read your posts and refrain from using internet slang sunch as "u" instead of "you".

Yeah I just replaced my CPU fan. It seems like it's running faster now and I havent had any shutdowns really. Im thinking about now to just getting a better graphics card. Mine right now is a 128 ATI Radeon 9600 seris. I think thats whats been messing with my computer. Im probally just going to upgrade to a 256 or 512 soon. What do you guys think A Nvidia or ATI which ones better?
