I was wondering.........

is there anyway i can get the glue off of the windows, because things got very messy while i was glueing the front and rear windows on my car and now it looks very crappy

First question is what kind of glue were you using?

ive only seen 2 windows restored after testors spilled on to them. and it want easy to do

if the window isn't already put in the body shell, it is easy to polish it like you would the body. start with a grit like 2500 and sand the glued up area and then polish it with polishing compound like scratch-x. if you work hard, it will eventually be clear and shiny and like new. it takes some elbow grease, though lolz! if it is already in the body, you can do it but it is more tricky but you can be trickier and succede!

Just polish it: I had a bit of extra thin cement (Tamy) on my 250california windshield: now it's invisible. Good luck :)

I usually rub the glue off with a little paint thinner, and then polish off the window.

If you cannot clean the glue off the windshield well enough, you can just use the kit windows as templates to cut some new windows out of acetate sheet, which will likely look better if you do it right because they are a much more scale width (A real car window should be something like 0.015" thick, about 1/4 of a millimeter: The glass in models would be about an inch thick on a real car).
