Front Axle Install Help Needed ASAP

Hey guys - I'm doing the front axle seals on my 03 sierra today. I got the passenger side axle out, but I can't get it back in! How hard to I have to hammer on the thing!

I don't know, but I've always seen people use the rubber mallet and hit it pretty hard.
