2004 Trailblazer - 1 Tire Worn

I have an '04 Trailblazer with 34,000 miles. Last rotated at 25,000 miles and I don't remember any uneven wear at that time (but could be wrong). The tire that is now on the right rear (was on the right front... I cross the rears to the front when I rotate) is significantly more worn than the other 3 tires. All four tires have even wear across tread, no cupping or scalloping at all. But the right rear has about half the remaining tread depth as the other three. All tires have proper air pressure (30 psi front, 35 rear) and truck has been aligned, with no issues found.

Any idea why this one tire is wearing more than the others? Doesn't have anything to do with 4WD, I only have it on when I'm offroad...

Is the tire itself unevenly wearing or just the fact that there is less tread then other 3? If its worn even just less tread..........did anybody do any burn outs to wear this tire out, cuz this is the main rear power tire.

It might have had to do with the air press on that specific tire. I dont run mine at 30 front 35 rear anymore since it seems to wear the fronts too quickly for my application. You should run your air press somewhere between the door jamb label and the tire sidewall specs. I run mine 35psig all the way around with gas prices ~$3/gal.:banghead:

No burnouts have been done (this was actually a front tire before recent rotation) and air pressures have been spec. This was a rental (I got it used, one year old, 15K miles). My theory is that it had a damaged tire and the rental company took another tire (or tire/wheel) from a different t-blazer and replaced it...

in that case, it does make sence
