As on Thursday, well the 20th. I am out of the Marines. I did my five years and now I am out. I must say that I have done nothing but smoke it up since than!

The army has a two year innactive ready reserve period where you don't have to do anything but they ca call you up for duty anytime they want. They called back like 20k people for viet... i mean iraq. They ended it recently though.

In the Marines they never call up the inactive reserves. But basicly you aren't obligated to do anything military for two years, but if they want to they can call you back. The odds of me getting called in? No chance in hell.
But it's just a formality. I get a military ID and I can use all the facilities for two years after I am out. So that is cool.

Re-enlistment code 4 No more military service or govt jobs for us. Mine was administrative-honorable conditions.
