Looking for a door art for my 83

I have an '83 caprice and both passenger side door handles have quit working. I finally opened up the front door and it appears there's a plastic clip that keeps the handle connected to the bar that goes down to the latch mechanism. That little plastic part broke, so the bar falls off the handle easily now. I can't figure out how to get a replacement, though. It's old enough I don't think they have them in boneyards around here and it seems parts places would never sell a 5 cent part for a car this old. My best guess is a place I found that sells the handle. I could order that and hope it comes with the plastic clip. Any ideas? I might go down to the local Kragen and see what they can get me, but I figured I'd ask here too.

Your best bet is a dealer (they will have these in stock). You might find something that could work in the MotorMite/HELP section of an auto parts store.

same thing happened to me on my 84. just go down to your local advance, napa, or whatever and get them to show tou the parts they have. match it up. it'll cost maybe 5 dollars. i wouldnt try taking one off a junk car cause it'll just break the same way.
