My daughter has a 94 Century. The car was missing the factory radio when we bought the car. I removed the aftermarket JVC stereo from her wrecked Honda, and installed it in the Buick.
The problem is the stereo will not go in the dash far enough, it bottoms out with about 3 to four inches of the stereo stuck out the front of the dash.
I bought an aftermarket install kit that adjust for the depth, etc. but it only helped by about 1 inch.
Anyone else had this problem? What did you do to correct it?

I cut up the air duct behind the radio and stuck my aftermarket in, but you will lose air flow to the vent above the radio.

I thought about doing that, would rather not. Any other options? I would think that someone makes an install kit for this.

I put a Kenwood CD player in mine. The kit I bought is adjustable in and out. All the way out it is still a little tight but it works fine. I bought the adapter kit at Wal-Mart.
