Yeah, would be nice to get more info on the more seasoned trucks among us. but it would be plain nicer if there was more traffic in here altogether. i have been a member of www.jeepforum.com (http://www.jeepforum.com) for a coupe years now and the traffic there is phenomenol (spelling?) in comparison, but i guess jeep fans are more fanatical.

Know what you mean. But Suburbans, by my understanding, were very expensive when they were built (still are, in fact). Mine was top of the line when it was made and probably cost a fair bit. Not to mention the fuel. My 1989 Suburban gets 9MPG, and I have to pay $100 for a fill that lasts around 3 weeks. That's pretty rough. But it sure does make it tough for finding parts for them. Only one salvage yard in town, and there's nothing there for the old 'Burbs. This is a pic of mine (http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/1587/p1010162cq0.jpg). It needs some TLC, but it's definitely quite a unique ride.
