To become a mod

How does one become a moderator, because I would someday like to become one but I don't know how. Do I have to be trained by a 1 foot tall green old man or what?:p

While we love eager members, it's best not to push your luck too much by asking all the time what you have to do to become a mod... No, I don't mean this as a beeotch, I simply mean that building a reputation for yourself should be primary. Show that you can handle yourself and respect other members. Show that you can make helpful, insightful posts to make AF a fun and intelligent forum.
And while we love an active forum, I'm going to close this thread up, as it has already been answered. :D
