I want to install a water pump on my car.. Problem I never installed one before but some how it doesn't seem so hard its only four bolts to remove. I just dont know how to take the belt off. How do I do that without damaging it? But what is some other stuff I need to know. What sealant should I use rtv blue?

There's a little square on the right top hand side of the water pump...just stick a socket wrench in there and pull it...the belt just comes right off.

well you shoudn't have to use rtv, BUT on a older setup, a 1/8 bead don't hurt nothing
