Ford's new diesel

Hey guys, you may remember me for tearing into the F150 over saftey issues. Yes that was me. BTW, whoever that redneck was that TRIED to bash me, well I left you a little message in that thread. Anyway, I have become somewhat interested in the Super Duty series Fords and have been wondering about their new diesel to be released in 2003. What do you think???

as a ford tech i recomend not looking into the new 03 6.0 diesel at least until next year.Ford is having lots of problems with it right now....oil leaks, injectors, lack of power (turbo boost) and turbo failing:evillaugh although the good engines that we have seen do run very well

LMAO, A Ford tech? Not a diesel tech, I'd bet.

Yes Ford/Navistar have had probs. But most of the bugs showed up in the first 2 mo's of production. Allmost all the major bugs are either worked out or will be very shortly.

From the peeps that tow with them, they say they are awsome.
