Please help!
My 2002 New Beetle would not start when I went to leave work tonight. I just replaced the battery maybe a month ago. When the battery died, the engine tried to start, radio came on, clock reset itself but displayed numbers, etc. Tonight... nothing. I couldn't even get my car to relock itself from the keyless access. I just put my key in, turned, and nothing at all happened. Any suggestions? Or should I just suck it up and have the car towed to the dealer?
Thanks.

Has to be a bad connection - check both pos and neg cables where they go onto the battery, also all the connectors in the lid that goes on top of the battery. Also check the main earth (neg) wire at both end. When you check this have the headlights on so you know what was dodgy by when the headlights come back on. Good Luck.

Thanks, I'll try that. I have to get back out to my car first. I'll keep you posted. I hope that's all it is!
