my friend is planning on putting a DOHC ZC motor into his 95 CIVIC DX, AUTOMATIC. he was wondering what kind of ecu that you would use. Would you get an automatic ECU from a 86-89 Integra or...would you use the stock one for the trans and then 86-89 integra for the motor? we're very confused, any help appreciated. sorry for not posting in the 5G forum....but the people in the 5G forum dont respond....plus you guys are smarter. :D laterz

is he keeping the auto tranny? I'm guessing he's not gonna convert his car down to OBD0...so, he'd have to use some ecu from 92-95, as well as the distributor...not really sure how that's gonna work either...maybe a 92-95 ex/si computer? dont know if they plug into dx's though...hmmm...tough one..give us some more info :)

wow thats a hard one, id say to use an auto ECU for the tranny you have, cuz it controls your shifts, so id figure that would be the most important.
