hey i wanted to buy a classic camaro but unfortunatley im not paying for it. My parents are. They won't let me buy a car without two airbags. I was wondering if it is possible to install airbags in a car that doesn't have them.

Technically it is possible to retrofit airbags into an older car, but it probably is not worth the money and it may cause a bigger safety hazard than leaving it stock.

Airbag equipped cars have many modifications to accept airbags, in terms of sensor location, electronics and how a car performs in a crash; that is, how quickly it deforms, where etc. Airbags are desighned with such factors in mind, and you would need GM's engineering dept to duplicate this with an old Camaro.

If you truly want a safe classic camaro, forget airbags and do what the real racecars do: install a good roll cage, 12 or 14 point would be great. They are available as kits from several on-line suppliers. Also get good 4 or 5 point racing seat belt systems, and consider a racing - quality bucket seats.

Race cars use these systems and do NOT use airbags, because these mods are safer than airbags in many kinds of crashes. Note dashboard air bags are useless in roll overs and side impacts, but the race car mods are highly effective at saving your skin in such accidents.
