2002 Accent Right Front Window Regulator

I think my right front window regulator is bad on my 2002 Accent. The window sort of falls down slowly. When I push the power window switch it sounds like cables binding. Do I need to replace the window regulator?

If so, how hard is this?

Thanks

It's not too terribly hard. Part # you need for a 4 door is 82404-25010. List price is $80.58. I can sell for $65.00 shipped. I don't have one in stock, but can have one in a couple days.

Does it sound like the regulator to you or the motor or both?

Thanks

It sounds like the regulator. You might as well go ahead and pull the door panel off and see whats going on inside there. You'll have to pull the door panel anyways, might as well do it now and verify whats wrong.

What else could it be?

Could be the regulator, the motor, or window track. I have seen before the window tracks needing to be lubricated, but not very often.

I know on my Grand Prix that the motor and regulator are one part. Is it the same way with the Hyundai?

Some Hyundai's they are, but not many. On your car, they are separate.
