sea foam???????????????

i used sea foam before from vaciom line,but i don't know it will smoke if i use it in gas tank.

No in the tank its just a fuel system cleaner.

In the vac line it cleans valves and piston tops, thats why it smokes.

I was planning on doing this sometime soon because I've heard stories of it miraculously curing our cars of lifter tick. Can someone tell me exactly how you use seafoam?

Hmmm I have not heard of it curing lifter tick unless you use it in the oil. Then if you use it in the oil you dont want to drive around with it in the crankase too much if at all because it thins the oil.

Here's how you use it. Buy seafoam, call a friend over to help you. Undo the brake booster line at the back of the intake manifold. Get a small piece of hose that will fit over that nipple, and hook the other end up of it to a small funnel. Then have a friend sit in your car, start the engine and give it just enough gas to keep the engine running since it will try to die on you. Then just start pouring seafoam into the funnel and it will go into the engine. Pour however amount the instructions say, i think its like 1/3rd of the bottle. Once you poor it in, let the engine die, and let it sit for several minutes. Then hook the brake booster line back up, start the car, and enjoy the smoke show.
