So guys i was thinking o f buying an eclipse. A wrecked one cuz its cheap. If i get a wrecked one then i have to fix it but it will be easy. So guys think this would be a good idea? I dont want to spend that much money on a not wrecked car.

It's very simple math to figure out your answer. Buying wrecked car approx. $750 repairing all mechanical problems from wreck approx. $500-$3000+ body work, paint, glass approx. $500-$2000+ so fixing wrecked eclipse $6000+ buying good looking and working eclipse $4000 which would be cheaper? I only recommend buying a wrecked car if it's going to be a project for money pit and learning experience as when you first buy it looks deceiving that will be cheap and easy to fix but never is. Wrecked cars are usually only when people want to fix up older cars that are rare and hard to find in good condition.

It isn't worth it. I would never suggest buying a wrecked car to anyone, and Mitsubishis arn't reliable to start with. Look elsewhere for the sake of your wallet.
