It is $2.79 for regular here in St.Louis. And for all you tbi guys out there, they guy at tbichips.com sells chips that let you run on 85 ethonal. But i think on ethenal you get worse mpg but the gas is cheeper. so it probly evens out.

im not trying to support not tapping into the wells now, but my friend brought up an interesting point today. If we wait and dont tap into the wells and then the rest of the world runs out or nearly out, guess what...we have all the oil thats left and we become rich!

Doubt that would work since the oil companys have more power than our government....

a few gas stations have switched to 85 ethanol without telling, in kentucky they didn't have to tell anyone that they did....i hate hearing the statement "if we didnt buy gas on (insert day here) then they would have to lower the prices." that is the stupidest comment i've ever heard and just want to have everyone who says that a mental evaluation.....end rant......it's $2.85, $2.95, $3.05 here, i've paid more though and will continue to pay it no matter what it costs and will always want the fastest car around...

i just did a research paper on alternative fuels including e-85
here is a link with stats on using e-85;
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/byfueltype.htm
it shows data from most 2006 flex fuel vehicles including mpg on both fuels, emissions on both fuels, and average running cost on both fuels. also, whatever distance ur vehicle can go on 1 gallon of gas, u would need 1/3 more ethanol to go that same distance. i've also herd of serious power loses when using this fuel.

cold starting is a major issue with ethanol i've been told

e-85 is mixed with 15% gasoline to help with cold starts.

Regular is like 2.30 something here and Premuim is 2.60 something in central Jersey. I am OK will it going up a little now cause the achieva is only using regular and the firebird I use to always use premium but it will be down for about 6 more weeks so its all good.

Regular is going for 2.75 here in Evansville (Southern Indiana) but I know of a gas station about 10 miles north of the city limits selling the same grade for around 2.60. Kind of odd.

Man 4 bucks for gas over the summer?..

If it gets that bad im buying an Aveo.. or just sticking with the monte and doing better MPG mods to it.. like CAI and exhaust..

It already has 28 city and 31 highway.. gotta love the fact that it gets better mpg than most 4 cyls..
