I was just wondering how would a stock cobalt sc compare to a stock srt4, my friends brother has both but his srt4 has stage 2. I know the srt4 is faster but how much? Cause I have another friend that has a srt4 stock and he thinks hell straight up murder the cobalt.

i think the srt4 because most of the time you can get more power easyer out of a turbo than a supercharger.

I know that the srt4 would win, I've been in both and u can tell the srt4 is faster, but according to stats it's not that much faster, i was wondering in a race how much would the srt4 win by, what kind of run would the cobalt give the srt4

prob stay neck and neck till 3rd....and u can defintally get more power out of a turbo in any setup....superchargers just cant put out as much power as a turbo...no contest

the cobalt will loose badly. srt-4's can do high 13's stock, a sc cobalt pulls 14.5. plus not many srt-4's are stock and with a couple little things they can run 12's all day.

This is a site that will andswer all your questions about this topic. I found it while looking up information on the cobalt. http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/coupe/112_0505_compact_sport_coupe_comparison/index.html
I hope this heps you :)
Oh and i also checked out the stage 2 superchargr kit for the cobalt and it will give you about another 36 hp to the cobalt, im thinking if you add a ram intake a pully set, new flywheel, and a new exasut with header you should be able to get about another 30 or 40 on that gettting it up to about 270 or 280 hp.... asuming they have headers for the cobalt yet.

the srt4 by a long shot there is not question cuz of the fact the stock ss is pushin 205 and the srt4 is pushin 235 to 250 i think it will be about 2 to 4 car lengths

stock ss is pushing around 240HP, gm underrated them. If its such a long shot, how come i havent lost to an srt4 yet?
The norm for a stock SRT4 is low to mid 14's. Yes some people can get them into the high 13's stock. But on average you dont see that out of the driver or the car. The fastest stock SS time so far is 14.1. Your talking of a difference of .2-.3 tenths of a second, or about half a car length.
