While I'm at it... 94 Bronco ?'s

While I am picking your brains, I have a couple of other questions...

1. Please don't laugh... What is the purpose of the springs inside the automatic front hubs? Will removal of these springs keep the hubs from locking in? The guy I bought the truck from did some front-end work which required the removal of the passenger side hub. When he put it back together he was unable to figure out how to get the spring to fit back inside so he pulled the driver's side to see if he could figure it out. The spring was already missing on that side so he reassembled the passenger side without the spring as well. :screwy:At least he was nice enough to tell me that he couldn't figure it out and what he had done... Anyway, my 4WD doesn't work. Is this the problem?

2. I need to replace the tailgate window motor... I am unable to find where the wiring disconnects from the motor. Does anyone know where the wires disconnect from the motor?:banghead:

I bought an 87 beater with no glass/motor and I needed the wiring....it was cut. Now that I think about it, I replaced the motor in mine some years ago...look for a plastic fitting somewhere in the bottom of the tailgate.
