Just make sure the power is separated from the RCA cable. I think the recommended is at least 12 in

Im not sure if it would help your situation out at all but you could try and relocate the ground and the remote on the opposite side of the RCA as well.
In my car, i have the power and the remote running next to each other on the right side, the RCA runs down the middle, and the ground wire is grounded on the side.
I've had it like this for a while and i havent picked up any interference yet

o, and just another thought... if your still picking up interference, you may have fried a wire... if you start running more power than your wiring can handle, you may have a problem.
My buddy bought some cheap wires to begin with and then after upgrading his stuff and adding a second amp (now running 2 1400w PPI's), he fried his 8 ga. power wire.
im not sure if everything would still work after frying a wire, but if you cant figure out what the problem is it might be worth looking into.

I'll ask you guys the same question ..... when the stereo is not playing ANYTHING, just on, how much current do you you think is going thru that power wire - the answer is practically zero. So why is the engine noise contant in volume regardless of the volume of the stereo ?
P.S. if you still think it's from the power wire, consider that all that power coming thru the wire is returning to the battery thru the car chassis .... so if your theory were correct, it didn't matter WHERE you laid the RCA, every car would have noise.
