If you have a car that has a big spoiler, neons, body kit,and rims, and have no performance parts at all. Dose this mean you are riced out or do it because you like it and know that it dosent change anything but apperance. So people on here think that your automaticly a ricer becasue you have these thing and think that there all ricers so..Agree or Disagree with me someon..I disagree i have a 89 civic sedan with a spoiler , neons, fart can, headers, and intake. I dont think that that makes me faster or that make me a ricer but other people do so thats an opinonated thing...

Well, if you have a 4 cylinder and you have headers then you probably just have the extra one for show somewhere in the backseat... haha. Yes, it's rice. Of course it is. And you know what else is rice? White kids with their hats on side ways leaning back in the seat with one arm on the steering wheel in their 16 year old Honda Accord, complete with stickers, fart can, ebay leaky tail lights and no female sitting next to them. Yesterday, my wife and I saw such a spectacle and she asked me why the hell people act this way since that fad went out like 10 years ago and mentioned that the south surely isn't that far behind. And I corrected her saying that this fad is 20 years old and it's not just in the south but across these here United Ricer States. There is nothing wrong with a little "rice" but for the most part people are retarded with it and take it too far...

primer body kits on a painted car, ridicously oversized aluminum triple-decker wings, and fart-cans dragging the ground are all too common here, i call that rice. But there are also cars here that have had their exterior nicely modified and look great, I don't call that rice. If your going for looks at least don't make it look half-ass, because it looks like rice mods

Actually I don't think it has much to do with the exterior vs. the interior of the car at all..I think it is the mentality of the person who owns the car, take you for example, you know why you did it and you also know that the car is not any faster because of it. i think ricer mentality is thinking that your car is the shit and trying to rev on basically anything with an engine and thinking your going to win...

I disagree as well. If a person does some modification to the outside of his car to change the looks (so it doesn't look like all the other factory cars) and doesn't think that it make the car faster or better than everything else out there, then I don't think that is rice - I call it creative as long is it is done well, and not gaudy or overdone. I do believe that adding some "looks" parts like large wings that are not performance related can be rice if the driver portrays them as such. And I always hate the "primered body kit" gag. My car has had a primered bumper on it for a while because I can't afford to finish the body work right now and can't afford to get it painted. Not everybody can buy a kit, install it, and paint it all at the same time. That's a lot of money if you want it done right. Car's take time to build and just because somebodies takes longer than yours to get painted doesn't mean his car is riced out.
