Click/buzzing - maybe the dash?

When the truck is started, and only when it has been warmed up, there is a little buzz/click that seems to be coming from like the instrument panel. Since the dash is Digital, could it possibly be something that is electrical? It only comes on when the truck is warmed and idling like at a light, and then at about 5-10 mph it shuts off, but when i slow back down to stop, it comes back on, and annoying.

I have something similar in my 98 Jimmy 4dr 4.3l. The buzzing sound almost sounds like plastic dragging lightly on something abrasive, like if you dragged a plastic cup down the street. It's only audible from INSIDE the cab and sounds like it's coming from the back of the dashboard\firewall. Revving the engine up makes it go away, no diff in N, D, P, 4x4, vent blower on\off AC on\off. I don't know if yours is the same but I'm baffled by mine.

I have the same problem on my 1998 Jimmy 4dr. I haven't yet narrowed it down but it does seem to be coming from the firewall/dash area just to the left of center of the vehicle. Don't know about yours but mine is very noisy when it is damp out and quiets down when it is dry. Hopefully we can find a way to get rid of this really annoying sound. As a side note: Can anyone tell me how to take the dash off(not just the front panel but the whole thing)

Yes, I just got a 2000 and noticed the same sound. from slightly left of center, behind the dash. I noticed that when the gas peddle is slightly depressed the sound comes on for second or 2.

I think your problems may all be in the turn signal flasher. I saw something about these failing, or beginning to fail and making some weird noises. Look in the Blazer forum and search under turn signal flasher I think you will find your problem. Mine in my '99 makes a distinct clickety-clickety-click when you start the vehicle but that's the end of it then.
