and as far as rap songs with meanings, tell me a meaning and i will track down that type of song because im bored right now.. there are tons of rap songs with meanings. The group "The Coup" pronounced like its a french word or whatever write songs about politics and stuff, but i am not really political so i dont listen to them that much but they make pretty solid albums. Del The Funkee Homosapien just raps about everyday type of shit, not really sayin shit like "I step up in tha cluuubbb" type of shit, you feel me? There are other political rappers too, like T-K.A.S.H. And then theres a couple by Mistah F.A.B. its called "If Papa Was Home"...ill post em up later in that other thread.

But for that style of music I would check out Warren G.'s regulators or some bone thugz and harmony.

if you want meaningful music i think that kanye west's songs have alot of truth in them. Eminem has some good stuff. And if you like the group in that video you'll probably like Bone,Thugs, N Harmony. They kind of have that same sound.
