Rack & pinion steering gear swap

I've been thinking of swapping out my steering gear with a remanufactured one because mine leaks power steering fluid and has a severely torn boot.
It looks like it might be difficult to get to from underneath. Does anybody have some pointers that will make the job easier. I am pretty tired of all the oily spots on my driveway from the leak, so as soon as our weather warms up I'd like to swap it.

Would anybody recommend changing the power steering lines as well?
