Ok everybody you did such a great job findng my last problem My truck just had to give you a new one. About a month ago someone stole my radio from my truck. I bought a new one and installed it myself like I have done dozens of times before. but heres where it gets weird. I will be driving down the street. and my radio will cut off and my anti lock break light will come on. when the light goes off my radio comes back on. heres a few more tibdbits.
1) Just had a shop install a new brake booster < didnt know if that could have somehow affected it >
2) I dont have to be driving, but it seems to happen only when I am moving. It seems like mainly when I am turning the steering wheel but It also happens when I hit a bump.
3) I thought it may be a short in the wiring from the deck to the harness so I took some elec tape and wrapped the 3 power wires running from the deck to the factory harness.
Thats all I got HELP. its driving me nuts

There are some places where the brake system gets wired into the underdash fuse panel. I'd 2x check everything that you've had done, and make sure your wiring is ok.

I had a new experience today.
My radio went out and my antilock brake light went on. But my wipers would not work either. and it stayed off for a while. also my radio made the sound that it usually does when I turn my truck off. Not sure if that means anything. I checked my wiring harness and dont see anything but honsetly I'm no expert there

Maybe you should check for grounding straps? They're pretty easy to find, just look for the braided wires that are bolted between the body/frame, the negative battery connection, and any place on the firewall (and underdash) that has wires grounded.

This certainly won't help your radio/wipers issue, but I recently had the tranny rebuilt in my 96 (E4OD) and while on the rack, the technician (one I have trusted for years) told me that the sensor on the top side of the rear end will go bad and cause the ABS light to activate. He said that its NOT a professional fix, but to avoid buying a new sensor, try to clean the plug pins on the plug itself and the plug-in on the rear. He said if that doesn't help, the sensor will have to be replaced. I don't know if this will help, but I thought I would share this with you in case it may help.

I think I figured out whats going on. I noticed that all the things that are going down are the same things that run when you have your key in the acc. posishion. so the last time it went down I wiggled the key forward. not enough to re-crank and grind the startter but enough to feel pressure. and everything cam back on. I looked and there was a recall for a bronco ignition for my year. Something about it could overheat ,smoke or cause a fire. but when I put my vin in it said it wasnt effected. is it hard to fix myself? any ideas?
