Ok guys, i know iv been holding off on these for a while but, in a month or so im gonna get headers. Iv decided to go with JET HOTS. There considered the "middle calss" headers. AND im going to get a few other things. I already have the LS6 intake, so im getting a new 80mm TB, and im thinking a MAF sensor. So in a month or so ill have, a loudmouth, lid, 80mm TB, JET HOTS, and maybe a MAF, but iv heard more ppl have trouble with it instead of pwer. So all in all ill be putting out what 400 fly wheel horsepwer?? Can i run low 12's with these mods if i get a pair of nittos?? I was hoping somewhere in the 12.3 12.4 rainge. I was told that some1 ran 12.3 with 4.10's catback, lid, LS6 intake.

How about you just go and race instead of asking us what you will run?
I can tell you what kind of potential your car has, but I can't tell you exactly want you will pilot the car to.
I don't use flywheel power. Anymore when I mention power it is normally refering to RWHP.
4.10's are a great mod for those M6 cars. Gets them off the line and stays in the powerband better.
DO NOT spend the money on the MAF. The stocker is programmed with your ECU and is good through 500 RWHP or so. I know guys that actually had problems with running an aftermarket MAF.

ok ill go race it soon enough. But wut kinda HP will i have. Also my car has about 85K miles on it, with that kinda power will the rear end stay in one piece?? i was told that the stock 10 bolt sucks. Iv heard storys about people snapping them with just regular bolt ons.

With sticky tires you might be in trouble.
I have also heard of guys (mostly with autos) running into the 11's on the stock rear.
With VERY similiar mods my car made 335/343 on one dyno and 343/358 on another. No tune.
So somewhere in there.

So luos in your opinion... is HP tuners or LS1 edit etc..... worth the $ you pay. I mean you can pretty much tune ur car whenever you want instead of paying some1 $500 to do it say after a cam install. And what do u basically have to do after a cam is installed other than dropping the revs??
Mr. Luos

Only if you know how to use it.
Then it is VERY much so worth the $$.
There are TONS of tables (timing, fuel, air) to change.
I am dishing out the $$ for a dyno tune. $500. If I knew how to tune...I would have dropped the cash on HPTuners. But I don't, so I didn't.

Iv heard its not that hard to learn to use it. Just takes time. I had recently read the other day that EFIlive and HPtuners were very user friendly.

User friendly yes.
Easy to learn how to tune?? I don't know about that. I have WAY too much into my car to risk me running it too lean or advancing the timing too far.
Hell...even stock I had too much into it.
Not saying it can't be done though. You will need time.
Might consider checking out Ls1.com and LS1Tech.com. They have tuning sections.
