I am looking to buy a passenger side mirror for a 2004 Ford Taurus SE. It is a power/Heated mirror with the puddle lamp underneath.
Ford price is $195 canadian.
If anyone knows where I could get this part cheaper or if anyone is parting out a Taurus, please let me know.

junk jards are the best. there is a junkyard network on the net somewhere. i found it by accident when i needed a taillight for my sable. but i forget what url. and what you do is put your email in and it goes to junkyards across the country and they email you a qoute and after about 2 weeks the emails stop.
i didnt pick the cheapest because they didnt qoute till after i ordered my taillight but it was only like 5$ differance in what i paid and the cheapest. also the going price for one on ebay was 30$ more then what i paid.
i found it using google

Look on www.discountbodyparts.com . I found an outside mirror part there, they have a wide assortment. Was about 40% off dealer price.

Thanks for the info. This web site is awesome, I found a mirror in Maine and put it on the car. The mirror was cheap because they were missing the glass, which was still ok in mine, so after patching all the pieces together my Taurus is perfect again.
A tip for all you out there with the recent model Taurus: the painted part of the mirror is a seperate piece of plasitc that is seperate from the mirror itself, it comes apart real easily from the inside, it simply clips to the mirror. If you need to replace the mirror and this part is not broken, you can simply replace it, no painting necessary. Also if you need to paint it and want a perfect factory look, simply remove this piece before painting.
