Would NAPA brake pads be better then OEM? I badly need to change my brake pads so I cant wait for Porterfields to be delivered. Love to all that help, death to those that dont:D :D

Im not sure about the napa pads, but im sure they probably carry the OEM pads for the maxima. If you have an autozone near you, you could pick up Raybestos i believe, I hear on thr org that they are pretty good. I believe they carry other, more expensive pads, that would probably be as good as the portfields. My max is at 31k right now right around the next schedules brake pad change, Im trying to decide on this topic myself. As i get this hella loud grinding or rubbging noise when i let go of the break pedal. and a little screeching when braking from over 50mph....which I don't mind so much as its not that noticable, but the friggin gridding or whatever when i let go of the pedal is evil! I think its cuz i park on a hill with my ebrake all the time.

Just get some stock pads from nissan or courtesy nissan, I'm sure they can do next day delivery for you... When I ordered my porterfields I got them around 3 days later... just a thought.... :D

well at first that is what i figured, but upon inspection of the front rotors i noticed they look brand new there is barely a scratch on em, god i hope not though, only 31k on the car, and my bumper to bumper warranty just ended
