Sentra, Sentra SE-R
The popular Sentra line, expanded in the 2002 model year with the return of the legendary Sentra SE-R and SE-R Spec V, offers a new Sentra 2.5 Limited Edition Package and other equipment changes for 2003. The Sentra CA model is no longer available as all 1.8-liter engine-equipped Sentra XE and GXE models sold with California emission specifications offer zero evaporative emissions and meet SULEV (Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicles) standards. Sentra SE-R and SE-R Spec V models are also now offered in a new bright yellow exterior color called Sunburst.
Enhancements to the 2003 Sentra and Sentra SE-R include:
· A new 2.5 Limited Edition Package, which includes GXE front fascia styling, the 165-horsepower QR25 4-cylinder engine, standard automatic transmission, standard Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and side-impact supplemental air bags
· New power steering ratio for XE and GXE
· New close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission for SE-R Spec V model
· New silver accent/insert fabric for SE-R Spec V model (replacing red accent/insert fabric)
· Standard 15-inch tires for XE and GXE models
· Two new exterior colors - Sunburst (SE-R and SE-R Spec V only) and Envy (super dark green)
· Five Sentra models now available - XE, GXE, 2.5 Limited Edition, SE-R and SE-R Spec V
