Fog light madness

I have a 2001 jeep cherokee sport. I do have the stock fog lights on he jeep but have a big problem. They were pointed incorrectly and when i went in for my servicing, I asked them to reposition them for me. Of course it wasn't going to be be free, cost me about $30. I got back home and was planning on looking at them that night but got a severe headache and the flu kicked me into bed for almost 4 days. Today, I looked at the fog lights and it looks like they readjusted both of them incorrectly and one of them is broken. One of them is dangling and is about to fall off (had to put duck tape on it or it would be dragging underneath the jeep). I called the dealer and they refuse to cover the repair, told me that I broke it and it was my fault. So F them! My question is, what are the best fog lights that I can buy that would fit in that stock position. I jst bought PIAA H3 bulbs for my stock lights but looks like it was a waste since the Jeep dealership busted my lights right off. Any input would be great!

My first step would be to go back to the dealer, in person, and show them the damage. If they broke it, they should fix/replace it.

Fog lights are easy to adjust, just measure from the ground up and aim them at the garage door and use that measurement. Or I go out at night and aim them right below my headlamps.

I got fog lights at speedyauto.com, the oem style will fit under the bumper and fit through the holes on the 2001 air dam. Use the bulbs you just bought.

Of course, you can go with off the road ones but you have to mount them above or on top of vehicle.

Are you sure the damage was not done while you were sick? I cain't imagine a dealer letting something like that happen!, any way,as mentioned approx 25ft shining on a wall or ? your fog light beam should be below the low beam,keep in mind these are not running lights! In my opion,true fog lights have more effect shining low to the ground just far enough out in front of the rig where both beams meet & cover lets say from yellow line to the ditch,this will be about half the distance as low beams,depending on the quality of the lights. I hope this makes some since,my wife says I don't make much sense talking!, good luck. CARL
