JL Audio 1000/1 ($1100)
JL Audio 300/2 ($500)
I plan on spending around the same amount for more amps when I add these to my system this summer
JL Audio 1000/1
JL Audio 300/2
JL Audio 300/4
That's about 3000 bucks for 3000 JL watts(rms)

The best part about being a professional engineer is
a.) you really know the difference
b.) you can afford to pay for it

Then you should also know that there is better than JL, and for the price you paid you could have gone with that instead.
