Hey folks, hope you can help me out. Have a '93 V-6 4x4 Rodeo and here is the problem: Vehicle starts fine when it is cold, but after it is run to operating temp (say, 1/2 hour or longer) and is shut off, when you go to start it back up it cranks numerous times like a carburated engine before it will fire up. I changed to fuel pressure regulator---no change. The vehicle runs good and smooth. Just starts hard when warmed up and is eating a ton of fuel. It has also been tuned and has a new fuel filter. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Ron
Thanks, Ron

The standard answer to this issue is that your injectors leak during a warm soak. Car fires up fine when cold. You might consider just living with the problem.
But, you also say "its eating a ton of fuel". Is this a new symptom? Have you ever replaced the O2 sensor?
Thanks, Ron
